Timmins and District Hospital Receives Support from Local Businesses; Aids in Maternal Child Program

On Tuesday, April 30, 2013, The The Timmins and District Hospital (TADH) Foundation received a cheque in the amount of $15,000 to purchase 10 sleeper chairs/cots for the Maternal Child Program. Timmins & District Hospital Celebrates the 100th Anniverary of the Hospital in the City of Timmins

On Monday, December 10, 2012, the Timmins and District Hospital celebrated their 100th Anniversary in the City of Timmins. Celebrations included a ceremony with guest speakers, the unveiling of a banner to commemorate the milestone anniversary, a historical power point presentation, and a memorabilia display. Timmins & District Hospital Awarded Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada

The Timmins and District Hospital is pleased to annnounce it has earned Accreditation with exemplary standing from Accreditation Canada. Timmins & District Hospital is a Smoke Free Facility

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the hospital property including parking lots and in personal vehicles. All staff, patients, and visitors are required to leave Hospital property entirely if they wish to smoke. Click here for additional information and resources.

Timmins and District Hospital Sleep Laboratory Celebrates Sleep Awareness Week with a Community Presentation

The Sleep Laboratory at the Timmins and District Hospital kicked-off Sleep Awareness Week with a community presentation on sleep disorders and the importance of sleep on Monday, March 5, 2012. Sleep Awareness Week occurs from March 5-11 this year. The week is dedicated to educating the community about the importance of getting good sleep and ends with the clock change to Daylight Saving Time, where Canadians will lose one hour of sleep.
